Sad news for Class of '62 -- We were recently notified by her husband that Judy (Redtfeldt) Church passed away July 6, 2013. Judy followed our reunion planning efforts with great interest, but decided at the last minute not to come. Sorry that we missed seeing Judy and reconnecting.

Hello Class of "62 ... I remember so many of you but, because I was a transfer in from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, there's not one out of 100 who would remember me ... I wasn't there long enough to become a legend. I will be unable to attend the reunion because I am scheduled for surgery at the VA Hopsital in West LA on the 26th of September and will likely be a little "under the weather." Beyond that, I am planning to remarry on October 7th in Las Vegas (my home for the past 12 years) and will then be relocating to Brighton, UK. My best to you all and especially those who think they remember me (hey Joe ... remember our "drag race" on the back streets of West Covina back in "62?). |

Hi classmates! 50 years! Really? We were so young... I am semi-retired (from teaching),have a great family,and enjoy living in Texas-yeeha! We lived overseas many years,never being aware of any EHS get-togethers,until now. October is a busy month. Moms 92nd.birthday party,a family wedding, and a Red Cross Planning Conference I need to attend. I"m sorry we won't be able to join in the fun. I am so glad one of the schools I attended is having a 50th reunion. Covina High's class of 62 has not planned any that I have been able to find. I know it will be so much fun reconnecting with those who attended the old campus in Covina. I attended there in my freshman year and then went to Covina the other three years. I am sure there are a lot of people who grew up in the Covina area schools as I did. Look forward to seeing all. |
